DNA Platform About us The Biomedical Research Networking Center Consortium (CIBER) is a consortium attached to the National Institute of Health Carlos III (Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness). The CIBER’s area of Mental Health (CIBERSAM) is made up by 23 research groups in psychiatry, neuroscience and other disciplines related to Mental Health. CIBERSAM’s groups conduct basic, clinical and pre-clinical research and are selected on a competitive basis and assessed according to strict scientific quality criteria. CIBERSAM’s Mission and Values Mission Values CIBERSAM aims to contribute to the reduction of the impact and stigma of mental illness in the Spanish society.
