ACMA LICENCE TECHNICAL DATA STRUCTURE Mark Williamson Senior Frequency Assigner

Radcom Structure Overview The Radcom database is based around the concept of a “spectrum access right” Licence 1 or more spectrum accesses  Specifies the assigned frequency, channel bandwidth etc. Spectrum Access 1 or more device record  Specifies equipment characteristics

Spectra Structure Overview The Spectra database is based around the concept of a “Station” Licence 1 or more stations  Location or area information, class of station and “coverage” Station Equipment  Transmitter information including frequency, power and antenna data  Receiver information including frequency and antenna data

Technical Data Structure – Land Mobile

Spectra Data related to Radcom Data (Land Mobile)

Spectra Data related to Radcom Data (P to P 2 frequency)

Spectra Data related to Radcom Data (simplex 1 way P to P)

Data Structure and validation rules The Spectra database has a specified structure for each licence/licence sub type Data will not be accepted into the system unless it conforms to the specified structure For APs this will be managed by utilising the published XML schemas or by using the ACMA provided web service.

Licence data structure for Fixed Point to Point

Licence data structure for Land Mobile

Alternative structure for Land Mobile

Licence data structure for Sound Outside Broadcast Transmitter power, Bandwidth and service radius will be specified by special condition.
