multi-purpose core and tooth build up resin PULPDENT CORPORATION

spee-dee build-up It’s the spee-dee way... to build up broken down teeth One step post and core build ups ensure a homogenous, one-piece internal structure. PULPDENT

REALLY DOES CUT LIKE DENTIN self-adhesive dual cure moisture tolerant self-etching to dentin fluoride release radiopaque spee-dee build-up PULPDENT

spee-dee build-up so many clinical uses Post cement and core build up Direct bonded core without a post Vital tooth build up for crown prep Base/liner under restoration Repair lost fillings and broken splints Patch broken cusps and porcelain Emergency repairs PULPDENT

spee-dee build-up really does cut like dentin  Contrary to manufacturers’ claims, traditional composite resins do not cut like dentin. Spee-Dee Build-Up is different.  Clinicians report that Spee-Dee Build-Up has the same resistance to the cutting bur as tooth structure. PULPDENT Nothing simulates tooth structure like spee-dee build-up. Perfect cutting and trimming – Perfect crown preps

spee-dee build-up really does cut like dentin PULPDENT Rotary instruments transition smoothly from tooth to Spee-Dee Build-Up. They cut accurately and do not ditch, gouge, chatter or gum up. Your crown preps are perfect.

spee-dee build-up unique features PULPDENT Self-adhesive: Bonding agents are optional Self etching to dentin: Etching dentin is optional Moisture tolerant: Favorable for use in the wet oral environment Really cuts like dentin: Burs do not ditch, gouge, chatter or gum up Automix cartridge: Controlled dispensing Angled dispenser tips: Accurate placement 25 mL and 50 mL cartridges: Economy packaging

spee-dee build-up Case 1: post cementation and core build up PULPDENT 1. After endodontic treatment, a molar was prepared with two post holes. 2. Pulpdent Etch-Rite was applied to the post holes and the preparation for 15 seconds. Etching dentin is optional. 3. After rinsing thoroughly, removing excess moisture and leaving the tooth slightly moist, Spee-Dee Build-Up was dispensed into the post holes and around the preparation.

spee-dee build-up Case 1: post cementation and core build up PULPDENT 4. Posts were inserted with a twisting, up and down motion to ensure uniform coverage of Spee-Dee Build-Up, and then light cured for 20 seconds. 5. Spee-Dee Build-Up was applied around the posts to the occlusal level and light cured. The material is also self-cure. 6. The post and core preparation was trimmed and finished and ready for an impression or digital scan.

spee-dee build-up Case 2: patching a defective core PULPDENT 1. A radiograph showed a defect at the crown margin of the upper right second bicuspid (#4). 2. Upon removal of the crown, the carious lesion was clearly visible. The old core material is blue. 3. After removing the caries. Spee-Dee Build-Up was used to patch up the core without etching or bonding agents.

spee-dee build-up Case 3: patching an existing crown prep PULPDENT 1. Removal of an old crown revealed a carious lesion in the cervical area. 2. In minutes the caries was removed and Spee-Dee Build-Up was used to patch the defect.
