On-site Laboratory Audits Both Chemistry and Microbiology laboratories will be audited at least twice every three years Cryptosporidium audits are on-going through the next round of LT-2. Laboratories will be audited at least once within a three year period. Announced and Unannounced Audits 7

Cryptosporidium LT Cryptosporidium sampling and analysis can begin any time after April 1, 2015 Submit sampling plan prior to sample analysis There are 26 nationally certified laboratories KY certified Cryptosporidium laboratories - 4 8

DW Proficiency Test Studies Laboratories performing drinking water analyses are required to successfully complete one PT Study per method-analyte each year Laboratories that fail two consecutive PT Study samples for the same method-analyte must report to the state with a corrective action plan Electronic tracking system PT Study results 9
