Different Accents, Different Worlds!! Tracy Chien-Yun, Yuan

Introduction English accents and dialects vary widely in Great Britain. English dialects may be different from each other, but all speakers within the English-speaking world can still generally understand one another. In Great Britain, different dialects develop variant accents and cultures, and may result to some misunderstandings and some interesting events.

Introduction Purpose1: what are UK native speakers’ impressions and reactions of different regional accents across Britain. Purpose2: what does UK native speakers’ impress of foreign accents from different countries. Research method: questionnaire-survey

Result of Suvey Backgrand: Interviewees: twelve people half of them are male, the other six are female. The age of the interviewees are among forty to fifty.
