01/24/08 New study programms ■ UL managed to renew 254 study programs on all three Bologna levels, which is twice the amount than all other Slovenian universities together. ■ Well over 200 expert reviewers from Slovenian and abroad (Austria, Sweden, USA, GB, Croatia, Italy and many more) participated in evaluating proposed new programs in 2008.

01/24/08 Interdisciplinary doctoral studies ■ Reduction of well over 100 PhD programmes to just under 20 3rd Level study programmes. ■ Introducing university level interdisciplinary programmes (e.g. Biomedicine, Environmental management) ■ Establishment of University Doctoral School.
