Uniformity Test of Diffuser Shahab Khan & Peter Torres UIC

Objective n We wanted to check if the crystal that diffused the light was uniform as we changed the position of the light input n We moved the position of the single ferule to all 16 positions and recorded the mean of 500 measurements

Conclusion n There is some non-uniformity of the diffuser n The points of entry closer to the center of the long axis of the diffuser appears to result in smaller light output than entry points closer to the perimeter
