One Brief Note This presentation is a general guide to some of the benefits offered to associates of Bank of America For in-depth explanations of all your benefits, review your 2002 Associate Handbook

Heath Care All Full-Time and Part-Time associates are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance subsidized by the bank There are a variety of plans to choose from

401 (k) Plan All associates (Hourly, Part-Time, and Full- Time) are eligible to set aside up to 15% of their paycheck on a pretax basis for retirement. The bank will match up to 5% of this contribution.

Pension Plan All Full-Time and Part-Time associates are eligible to receive this benefit. They are given an account that grows with company-paid compensation credits and investment credits.

Employee Assistance Program All associates are eligible. Provides confidential, short-term counseling for any personal issue. Offers unlimited counseling by telephone from experienced attorneys on any legal issue.

LifeWorks All associates are eligible. Experts offer seminars all over the country on such topics as achieving balance in life, parenting, elder care, and financial counseling.

Child Care Plus All Part-Time and Full-Time associates who meet income requirements are eligible to receive reimbursement of up to $152 a month for child care expenses of children younger than 13.

Tuition Reimbursement All associates may receive reimbursement for tuition and tuition-related expenses,with a maximum of $2000 per calendar year for undergraduate courses and a maximum of $4000 per calendar year for graduate courses.

Adoption Reimbursement All Full-Time and Part-Time Associates are eligible to be reimbursed up to $4000 per adopted child, under the age of 18, for adoption related expenses.

Flexible Work Schedules Full-Time and Part- Time associates are eligible to participate in such programs as Flex-time, Telecommuting, Phase-in, SelectTime, and a Compressed work schedule.

Vacation Part-Time and Full- Time Associates are eligible for paid vacation time. The amount of annual vacation is based on an associates job and and his or her length of continuous full-time or part-time service.
