Multi-Modal Radiological Reporting Device

Current Radiological Reporting The ER doctor recommends an X-Ray of the patient The Radiologist views the X-Ray The Radiologist says the results into a personal recorder A stenographer types out the results and sends to the ER The ER doctor decides on a course of action

Current Problems The process is slow. There is a better than 70% error rate between what the radiologist says and what is reported. The records aren’t accurate

The Solution A single program that allows the Radiologist enter the results in a clear fashion such that no mistakes are made and the results are immediately available to the ER about a patient in need.

The Doctor Advantages The Radiologist can enter data about the patient by supplying a direct drawing of the problem areas There doesn’t have to be a middle person between the specialist and the ER doctor. The specialist can enter the data the same way as before but it is directly turned into text instead of having the chance for human error. The ER doctor can directly see the results of what the specialist describes as the problem areas The Results are immediately available to the ER as soon as the examination of the X-Ray is complete.

The Patient Advantages The patient has more correct diagnosis of the medical problems. The patient receives treatment faster without having to wait for results. The patient can see the results clearly in plain text on a computer screen.

The Result The patient receives better care. The doctor saves time. The medical community saves time and money.
