  Graduates of Westmont College will   know the content of the Bible and the central doctrines of the Christian faith and be able to relate this to other fields of inquiry (Christian Understanding)  demonstrate commitment to Christian service (Christian Practices/ Affections)  accurately evaluate the strength of evidence in support of a claim (Critical Thinking)  write effectively in various contexts (Competence in Written Communication)  effectively communicate orally in various contexts (Competence in Oral Communication)  access, evaluate and use information from a variety of sources in ethical and legal ways (Information Literacy)  analyze a topic or human experience using the categories such as race, ethnicity, gender, social status and disability (Diversity)  analyze globalization from at least two different perspectives (social, cultural, economical, political, religious, technological or educational) (Global Awareness)  engage effectively in life-long learning and civic responsibilities (Active Societal and Intellectual Engagement)  identify healthy lifestyle practices and articulate effective strategies that attain these practices (Physical and Emotional Health)  display accomplishments in one area of artistic creation, performance or production (Creative Expression)  Total: 11 outcomes for 8 goals  Institutional Learning Outcomes
