Week 5 IT 12 Awareness of order of time - ‘First’ and ‘Afterwards’

Awareness of order of time - ‘First’ and ‘Afterwards’ Week 5 IT12 This teacher led activity aims to start the children thinking about time sequences: what comes first and what comes afterwards. Each scenario begins with the appearance of two labelled pictures for the teacher to read to the children. On the following slide is a question to cue the teacher as to what to ask the children. (The children are not expected to read this). The children’s task is to decide if the event in question comes first or afterwards. Teachers ask the children for an answer and click on the action buttons. The next three slides contain the two-picture scenarios to be printed, cut and distributed to the children before you start. Children should place the pictures in the order of the events and paste them on the worksheet.
