What does it mean “competitiveness”? 100 sec to think

Competitiveness may be differentiated at the level of: Good (service) Firm Industry, Cluster or Region National economy in general.

Perspective of the good (service) competitiveness is seen as the ability of a firm to satisfy as much as possible the needs of consumer per unit of price.

Perspective of the firm competitiveness is understood as capacity of the firm to maximise factor incomes (wages and profits) on a sustained basis. competitiveness means the ability to stay in business during the long period of time.

Perspective of industry competitiveness of national industry is understood as capacity of the industry to satisfy as much as possible the needs of all owners of factors of production (wages, profits, dividends, level of employment, etc.) on a sustained basis.

National competitiveness the ability of companies, industries, regions, nations or supranational regions to generate, while being and remaining exposed to international competition, relatively high factor income and factor employment levels on a sustainable basis.

INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL: A DEFINITION The term intellectual capital (IC) can be defined as all nonmonetary and nonphysical resources that are fully or partly controlled by the organization and that contribute to the organization’s value creation.

Intellectual capital resources are divided into three categories based on their economic behavior. These are: 1. Relational 2. Organizational 3. Human INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL: structure of the notion

Relational: These include all relationships that the organization has, such as customers, consumers, intermediaries, representatives, suppliers, partners, owners, lenders, and the like.

Organizational: This includes resources such as brands, intellectual property, processes, systems, organizational structures, information (on paper or in data bases), and the like.

Human : This includes resources such as competence, attitude, skill, tacit knowledge, personal networks, and the like.
