You are a secret agent for the CIA. You need to drive to headquarters to pick up a top secret file. It is a hot summer day; the Sun’s electromagnetic energy is beating down on your back as you get in your car.

As you use mechanical energy to turn the key, the electrical energy in the battery helps ignite the gasoline and start the car. After this, the chemical energy from the gasoline will power the car as you pull out of your driveway.

While driving, you notice that another car has been tailing you. Suddenly, shots ring out. Whoever is behind you, they are not your friend. You swerve to avoid the bullets as you ride up a steep hill. The potential energy you gain at the top of the hill is converted to kinetic and motion energy while you speed down; enemy car in hot pursuit.

You are off the hill now and see the town’s nuclear power plant churning out nuclear energy. A red light comes and goes when you see a huge car collision behind you, sound energy echoing. Unfortunately, your pursuer’s car emerges unscathed.

More shots ring out and you hear bullets hitting your car yet again. The enemy’s car pulls out beside you. Then, when things couldn’t possibly get any worse, you notice that the bridge is out! You slam on the brakes, coming to a screeching halt at the edge of the collapsed bridge. Your pursuer isn’t so lucky, though. The car flies off the bridge, gaining gravitational energy before falling to the river below.

With your foe at the bottom of a river, you complete your assignment without any other mishaps. Ready for your next mission?
