AAE 450 Spring 2008 Features Dynamics and Control  Highly accurate and precise dynamics model includes:  Custom Variable Mass 6 DOF, Earth-Centered, Earth-Fixed Equation of Motion Integrator (uses quaternions to avoid singularities)  COESA 1976 Atmosphere Model  WGS84 Exact gravity model (can include mass of atmosphere and centrifugal forces)  Instantaneous center of gravity and inertia tensor estimators  Required Inputs  Nominal Trajectory/Initial Conditions  Pointing/Attitude requirements  Full and empty masses, centers of mass, and inertia tensors for stages  Center of pressure, aerodynamic coefficients, thrust, and wind  Future Work  Design a Controller 3
