2008 is 4 th UNICA Scholarly Communications Seminar Aim of UNICA is to provide a secure framework for discussion and action in a European context –Shared agendas provide opportunities for partnership Important for libraries to be able to come together to discuss information provision and services in such a context –Bologna Process is creating a framework for European teaching, learning and research 4 th Scholarly Communications Seminar

Partnership in Academic Excellence is this year’s theme Three parts to the question: 1.How are effective partnerships formed? 2.How do libraries define and recognise academic excellence? 3.What are the areas where libraries can add value? Through formal presentations, we will trying to identify answers 4 th Scholarly Communications Seminar
