The following shaft is made from a steel tube with a 2 inch outside diameter which is bonded to a brass core with a 1 inch diameter. Determine the maximum shear stress in each section if a torque of 250 lb-ft is applied at the end of the shaft. G for steel is psi and G for Brass is 5200 psi.
