Acushnet Police Department Citizens Police Academy

Goals of the Citizens Police Academy Educate the public about the functions of their Police Department Highlight the roles of each Public Safety Department Citizens attending will become more confident and knowledgeable about their public safety departments Help to improve communications between all public services

Citizens Police Academy Overview This course will consist of (10) classes Each class will be taught by a certified Police Officer, Paramedic, EMT, and/or Firefighter Each participant will be 18 years of age or older. Also every participant will either live or work in the town of Acushnet There will be no cost to the participant
