“Bin the Bin” replace the standard desk-side bins used by each employee with recycling points, close to each set of desks Staff and students need to make a little more effort to dispose of rubbish When staff take time to walk short distance to the bin they are more likely to sort the waste correctly At other organisations “Bin the Bin” has produced a 10% improvement in recycling, Recycling waste is removed free by local authorities, landfill costs us between £80 and £180 a tonne disposal FACILITIES AND PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
