Hiter odgovor… …semantični splet se stika z vsakdanom na veliko mestih, samo redko ga tako imenujemo. Za kaj gre?  …gre za to, da skušamo računalnikom pomagati, da se lažje pogovarjajo z računalniki na mreži. …in zakaj se ne morejo že sedaj?  Zato, ker ni dogovorjenih jezikov za opis vsebine (dogovorjeni so predvsem jeziki za opis oblike)

What is Semantic Web?
