The pageant will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015, Starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Pell City CEPA Theatre. Rehearsal Date & Time: Wed., January 14, 4:00-6:00 p.m. Beginning at 1:00 p.m. Baby Miss Queen of Diamonds – 0-11 months Each of the following categories Immediately follows its preceding category: Toddler Miss Queen of Diamonds months Mini Miss Queen of Diamonds– 2-3 years Tiny Miss Queen of Diamonds– 4-5 years Petite Miss Queen of Diamonds– 6-7 years Little Miss Queen of Diamonds– 8-9 years Pre-Teen Miss Queen of Diamonds – years Junior Miss Queen of Diamonds – years (Do not arrive late as pageant will continue to the next group listed.) Crowning and Awards Presented We are proud to announce that we again have an esteemed panel of highly qualified judges for the pageant. This year we will be crowning a winner and 2 alternates in each category. The winners will receive a crown and flowers. The alternates will receive a trophy. Winners from each category will be eligible to participate in the 2015 Pell City Christmas Parade. A professional photographer will be on hand to place orders for photos taken during the course of the pageant. Division winners will be invited to be recognized at a 2015 varsity home game. **OPTIONAL** - A “People’s Choice” Award will be presented to the contestant who raises the largest amount of money through sponsors. The overall winner will receive a medal and flowers. Sponsors may be businesses, friends or relatives. All money received goes directly to the Pell City Diamond Club and should be turned in on the rehearsal date. People’s Choice registration forms can be located and printed off the website. PHOTOGENIC COMPETITION: There will be one winner per category who will receive a prize for this category. To participate, a photo of the contestant and a $10.00 registration fee for this optional competition portion should be turned in at the time of registration/rehearsal. Please list the contestant’s name and category on the back of the photo. The photo will be returned. OPTIONAL CATEGORIES: There will be winners for participants in each optional category: *Prettiest Smile, *Prettiest Hair and *Prettiest Dress in divisions 0-5 years, and then in divisions 6-14 years. To participate in one or more of these categories, a $10.00 fee per category should be turned in at the time of registration / rehearsal. PHOTO GUIDELINES: The photo should be of the contestant only, be at least 3x4, but no larger than 8x10. No frames please. Photos may be in black & white or in color. Glamour Shots and school pictures are acceptable. PAGEANT ATTIRE: Attire should be age appropriate flower girl or pageant dress. Score sheets will not be given out. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Un-sportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. Times are subject to change due to the number of participants. Also, pageant reserves the right to combine or divide age groups depending on number of contestants entered. This is a fundraiser for the Pell City Diamond Club, a booster organization that promotes and supports the Pell City High School Baseball Program. All proceeds earned will be used in direct support of the baseball teams.
