KUF Statistics  The situation in Norway  Girls lag behind in knowledge and user level  Boys know more about computer technology than girls  Fewer girls have access to a private computer than boys  Fewer girls than boys have access to the Internet  More boys are interested in ICT  Female students shun using ICT to a greater degree than male students  Only a small number of female students choose computer training, in spite of the fact that most students at universities and university colleges are women
