History Ancient Rome: The Romans started to grow a society on the Italic Peninsula in 700 BC It began as a small monarchy growing to a thriving empire. Julius and Augustus Caesar named the 7 th and 8 th month after themselves. At its highest point, Romans owned over half of Europe.

Food Italian Cuisine: Italian food is one of the worlds most famous foods of all time. Such as Pizza,Pasta,Maize, Tomatoes and Espresso’s. Italian restaurants are spread all across the world and are very popular. Italian wine is also a popular drink in Europe.

Sport Team Italy: Italy has a long sporting tradition. Italians play numerous sports such as soccer, rugby, tennis, race driving and cycling Italy has won 4 World Cups and 16 Formula 1 constructors titles with Ferrari.
