January 29, 2015 plot in TSB chapters 25 and 26 Hom ework: Finish comprehension questions for chapters 25 and 26. Objective I can evaluate a novel's plot as it moves toward its resolution TSB Warm Up: Take out your Anger Dance storyboard from yesterday

Chapter Questions - Chapter What does Cole believe to be the secret to being invisible? Why does he come to this conclusion? 2. What does Cole see after allowing his mind to clear and letting himself become one with nature? 3. Cole decides that he can now do the anger dance. When he is doing it, he screams, "Please forgive me! I didn't mean to hurt Peter!" Think back to his motivations at the time of the assault, Cole's family history, and Cole's reaction to Peter when he hears him speak for the first time since the assault at the Circle on pg. 40. Is this statement true? 4. Cole also states, "I forgive you" during his anger dance. To whom do you think he intends these statements?

Chapter Questions - Chapter What does Cole note about being angry at the opening of the chapter? Pull the text to support your answer. 2. What is the lesson Cole learns regarding not being able to help the person he wronged? What does he correctly assume about Edwin and Garvey? 3. When Cole starts thinking about his return to Minneapolis, what is he most concerned about? Why is this unusual? 4. What surprising news does Edwin relay to Cole concerning Peter? What does Cole believe to be the answer to Peter's problems? Why does Cole think this is a good idea? Do you think that it will work? Why or why not. 5. What difficulty is Cole having with the bottom carving on his totem pole? What do YOU think he should carve? Explain your answer and then draw a picture of what YOU would carve if you were Cole.
