Adjustment Plan What is it: Obligation for Operators that will apply for Adjustment permit (Chapter 14); Sets the operating conditions of the installation including the ELV and EQS to all environmental media; Sets the time schedule for applying the conditions; Determines BAT for the concerned location; Considers the best practices for the existing technology; Plan how to reach BAT in sustainable way Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning Republic of Macedonia

Schedule for Applying for Integrated/Adjustment Permit The schedule for applying for Adjustment Permit is being developed according: Assessment of the economic impact from IPPC Implementation (including productivity factor); General assessment of the technical level in IPPC sectors (both: technology used and techniques applied); Pollution risk assessment by different IPPC sectors and different installations Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning Republic of Macedonia

Project : Strengthening of environmental management in Republic of Macedonia - supporting of the European Agency for Reconstruction (CARDS 2004 ) The Project Element M1 (IPPC) will be carried out in 3 main areas : 1.Permitting : -preparation of 4 pilot permits, -assistant in the preparation of IPPC adjustment permits, -organization of 3 workshops to involve all IPPC stakeholders (will be timed to be two months ahead of each of the first three call-in dates for IPPC installations) 2.Guidance : -production of 6 BAT Guidance Notes (2 Horizontal), 3.“B” IPPC Inventory : -close co-operation with the LSG entities, to make use of their local knowledge, to prepare the inventory, -develop guidelines for the permitting of “B” installations -training seminar 4. Planed one Study Tour for IPPC (5-7 staff) in new member states such as Czech and Slovakia.
