Because IPPC has not been transposed yet, environmental inspections are combined - not integrated

5. TRAININGS Training for provincial directorates are conducted
In 2006; 5 Provincial Directorates participated
(98 Personnel)
In 2007; 11 Provincial Directorates participated
(270 Personnel including General Directorate)
In 2008; 24 Provincial Directorates are participating (240 Personnel)
By the end of 2010 all of the Provincial Directorates will have been participated to the trainings

Manual for Environmental Inspectors
Environmental Pollution Monitoring Guide
Translated into Turkish
Approximately 3000 copies have been distributed to the Ministry, Provincial Directorates, Metropolitan Municipalities and Universities

7. PROJECTS Transposition of EMAS
Workshop on April 2008
SEI Request on EMAS has been accepted. The Project is predicted to start in November
