What Is Heaven Like? Jesus is coming again (2 Pet. 3:10). The dead will be raised (John 5:28-29). All will be changed (1 Cor. 15:50-53). All will be judged (2 Cor. 5:10) –Actions, words, and even thoughts But after judgment… –Where will we spend eternity? –What will it be like?

I. Figurative Language Uses imagery to convey a message –Song of Solomon 5:9-16 Uses precious things to paint a picture of her beloved Understand the emotions behind the words The reality is be better than the literal What Is Heaven Like? How to describe beauty to the blind? –We haven’t seen heaven… –We haven’t even seen the glory of our future bodies (1 John 3:2).

Abraham’s example (Heb 11:8-10, 13-16). –A country of our own –A better country, a heavenly A place prepared by Jesus (Jn 14:1-4).
