 What causes primates to become endangered/extinct yearly?  KP

 Did you Know traps kill chimpanzees at a rate of 3.7 chimpanzees a year  Did You Know that poachers kill families of gorillas trying to catch infant gorillas for zoos  Did you Know if eaten, gorillas are butchered and eaten right on the spot.  KP

 They have poached Drill Monkeys, Golden Lion Tamerin, and Gorillas.  Poachers kill Primates so they can sell them, they can eat them, and they keep their hands and heads for trophies  KP

 Guns are used the most (80%). More than traps, spears, and harpoons.  Traps kill chimpanzees at a rate of 3.7 chimpanzees a year.  KP

 When poachers kill primates sometimes they sell the dead primate for money or other things.  But if they are not supposed to sell the primate it is called Illegal wildlife trade.  Sometimes People sell there dead primate in the black market.  The black market is a place where they sell illegal things.  KP

 As you can see we are killing too many primates! We need to stop right here right now! Don’t you want your baby to see a primate! So right now, I don’t care if you’re at something very important! Stop and make a choice. STOP or NOT? Take your time don’t rush. I hope you picked STOP! But, it’s not all up to me. It’s up to YOU!  KP

 Why are amphibians going extinct and becoming endangered so rapidly?  Anders

 That a species of animal goes extinct every twenty minutes.  That thirty-three present of amphibians are threatened or endangered.  That one hundred twenty-three known species of amphibians have gone extinct since nine teen eighty-five.  Anders

 Some of the lethal causes to amphibians include habitat destruction, pollution, unnatural predators, over harvesting, global warming, disease, and finally the pet trade.

 Well, I have found the answer to the next part of my question which is which large group of animals has had the most spices belonging to their family go extinct? They just happen to be cold blooded and scale less, they are amphibians! I really wasn’t expecting that because I see and catch frogs and toads all the time. But then again that’s just here in Michigan. I guess in other places the amphibians have been feeling this pain, but why?  Anders

 Do not buy any threatened or endangered amphibians illegally end of story!  Do not pollute at all in general!  Do not use pet asides in your yard get it!

 Did you know that wolves eat small animals like beavers and rabbits, and also eat big animals like moose or elk?  Wolves go extinct more because people think they are going to eat them so they kill them. the main reason they get killed is from humans.  Did you know that the alpha wolf might eat small or injured wolves?

 One reason is that animals might have to eat them because they run out of food they normally eat. When they run out of food, they have to eat other animals. They usually eat the young because they are smaller and easier to kill.  When wolves run out of food, the alpha male might eat an injured wolf. An alpha male is the king wolf. This might be good so there is more room for the other wolves to move.  They might eat cattle and other farm animals to survive. They are taking a risk, because farmers/ranchers might kill them to stop them from eating their animals.

 It really wouldn’t affect the food chain other than that the moose might become overpopulated. Some moose would probably die out because of starvation- too many moose not enough food, or have to adapt to a new food.

 When wolves raise lots of pups, there become more wolves. More wolves mean that there is a need for more food. More moose get eaten. When the moose disappear, wolves starve  If wolves did not kill their prey, the foxes and ravens would not have food because the wolves leave leftovers and they eat them.

 When wolves disappeared from the American West, the elk population changed and so did what they ate

 Here is what you can do to help. Here are some things you can do to help. You can give a donation to The NATUARAL RESOURSES DEFENCE COUNCIL. You can also donate to the DEFENDERS OF WILDLIFE. You can adopt a wolf. If you can learn about wolves more, you should. Then you can teach others about wolves. Those are some things you can do.
