Markets Around the World New Zealand Livestock Markets Around the World! Middle Eastern Markets Korean Fish Markets

New Zealand Livestock Markets New Zealand live stock markets sell Sheep, Pigs, Cows and lots of other farm animals. If the farmer has to get a pig, they pick it up by the feet.

Korean Fish Markets Korean Fish Markets sell all kind of fish Korea is right near the sea and fishing is an important business for many Korean people The older women sell the fish on the markets because the men are out on boats catching the fish

Middle Eastern Markets You can find lots of colourful spices and grained foods for sale at Middle Eastern markets like this market in Istanbul Turkey Lots of dried food stuffs are sold because it is very hot in the Middle East so they can’t keep refrigerate food and keep it fresh easily.

That’s All Folks! I hope you enjoyed my PowerPoint presentation about markets. Here’s a brainteaser for you, look at the picture on the right carefully, and try to guess where in the world the market is, (the answer is on the next slide).

And the Answer is… China! What did you see in the picture that made you think that the country was China? Research Chinese Poultry Markets and see what other information you can find out!
