Medina; the city of prophet Muhammad. The Kaaba is located in Mecca. Entrance of Hira cave.
Prophet Muhammad was a shepard and a merchant.
One day a poor man brought a bunch of grapes to the holy prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him) as a gift. The holy prophet (pbuh) ate one, two, three and then the whole bunch of grapes by himself. He did not offer grapes to anyone present. The poor man who brought those grapes was very pleased and left. One of the companions asked, "O prophet of Allah (peace be upon Him) ! How come you ate all the grapes by yourself and did not offer to any one of us present? The holy Prophet (peace be upon Him) smiled and said, "I ate all the grapes by myself because the grapes were sour. If I would have offered you, you might have made funny faces and that would have hurt the feelings of that poor man. I thought to myself that it's better that I eat all of them cheerfully and please the poor man. I did not want to hurt the feelings of that poor man."
Surah Al Alaq was the first surah revealed to prophet Muhammad.
When prophet Muhammad was twelve years old he and his uncle Abu Talib were traveling when they reached Syria they met a christen monk called Bahira,Bahira noticed that a white cloud was giving shade to one of the travelers and the cloud was following the traveler until they sat under the tree then the tree’s leaves lowered and gave more shade to the traveler. Then Bahira invited them for lunch, he noticed some thing special about prophet Muhammad so after they were done eating Bahira noticed the birth mark on prophet Muhammad’s back ;then he knew that he was a prophet. Bahira went and asked some questions about prophet Muhammad, Bahira asked Abu Talib who was his father then Abu Talib said,” I am his father” then Bahira said,” no you are not his father.” then Abu Talib said, “well he is actually my nephew, how did you know?”well because of the birth mark on his back shows that he is a prophet of god and he knew that the next prophet was gana be an orphan. So then Bahira ordered AbuTalib to return to Mecca and keep the prophet safe.
