CLOTHES

We don’t wear a uniform for school but our shirts for school must be navy blue, red or yellow. In our school our clothes for school holiday must be dark – black, navy blue, or gray with a white shirt for boys and a white blouse for girls.

In winter it’s cold in Poland. We have to dress very warmly, putting on thick shirts or sweaters and warm jackets, coats or furs. The boots we wear are very warm. In summer we wear light clothes. Girls wear dresses or light T – shirts with jeans and boys wear T – shirts and trouser or jeans.

I have many clothes in my wardrobe, but not so many as my mum and dad. Some of my clothes are very smart. But idon’t wear them very often. It is very elegant for girls to wear dresses and for boys to wear suits and ties, but we do so only on special occasions: registry office, thirst communion and funeral.

New Year’s Eve parties are organised all over the world. People go restaurants or meet at home. Sometimes guests dress up in costumes and cover their faces with masks.
