Federal Transit Administration (FTA) States “Transit providers shall prepare demographic and service profile maps and charts after each decennial census and prior to proposed service reductions or eliminations.” Title VI Program Plan: must be submitted to FTA every three years and must be approved by board of directors or appropriate governing entity prior to submission to FTA. Transit providers that have implemented or will implement a New Start, Small Start, or other new fixed guideway capital project shall conduct a service and fare equity analysis. Require maps displaying transit base data, demographic profile data and transit facilities
