 The rich timbre resource of our Country is mainly concentrated in Kerala, Punjab, Haryana, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh & West Bengal.  Kerala is one of the larger Wood based products manufacturing States in the Country.  The Micro Small enterprises contribute majority of the Wood Furniture units in Kerala State. Wood based Industries K K-BIP

 Kerala is having more than 10,000 Wood Based products manufacturing units.  Employment of at least 1 million skilled / semi-skilled and un- skilled workers directly and indirectly.  Majority of micro & small units produce traditional designs, while contemporary styles form only a small percentage of the total output.
