Business Reply Mail  Schulemburg Printing has our setup for proper printing of Business Reply Mail envelopes from Post Office or contact Susie Motal, X-826 for artwork  Envelopes or post cards must have bar coding with zip ( )  Postage-$1.04 per envelope when returned to UHV

Bulk Mail  Departments may sort their own Bulk Mail.  Departments may send to Victoria Presort and they will sort and deliver to Post Office for mailing. Victoria Presort will bill Presorting Department for charges.  New requirement effective 11/23/08 Victoria Presort will check your address list prior to printing to verify the address meet all postal requirements.

Bulk Mail (continued)  UHV Procedures are located on “P” Drive Postage – Bulk Mail Folder  Regardless of how you process the Bulk mail, departments are required to prepare the Bulk Mail UHV Form found on “P” Drive and send to Mail Services so the proper cost center can be charged.

UPS Next Day Air  Contract for daily pickup with UHV  Shipping labels & envelopes available in Mail Room  Need Cost Center on Shipping labels  Online tracking

Federal Express  Contract for daily pickup with UHV  Shipping labels & envelopes available in Mail Room  Need Cost Center on Shipping labels  Online tracking

Department Charges  Postage charges for meter, Bulk Mail, Business Reply Mail and Express mail are reallocated to departments by monthly journal  The monthly Postage Summary is posted on “P” Drive Postage Summary Folder or review the attached documents to the journal in PeopleSoft.  Overnight Shipping Charges invoices processed weekly  Cost Center is required for proper charging of all mail and shipping services.

Mail & Shipping Deadlines  U.S. Postal Carrier picks up mail at 3:00 P.M. Mail needs to be processed by 2:45 to meet deadline.  UPS ground shipping labels processed at 3 P.M. Driver picks up after 3:30 P.M.  Federal Express picks up after 3:30 P.M.
