Presentation transcript:

“The 'Fabulous' RAVE” "The RAVE" has been together since early 2012 and has performed at numerous notable Toronto venues... including 'The Hard Rock Cafe" and both "Rockpile" locations (West & East). "The RAVE" is Neil MacIsaac (guitar), Benny Sanders (drums), D'Arcy Cain (bass) and Anthony "Tony" Carr (tenor sax/percussion). All 4 members of the band sing. "The RAVE" plays Vintage Rock from the 50/60s, some R & B from the era, carefully chosen light jazz & some contemporary tunes. Visit:

“The Fabulous RAVE” - 'Neil MacIsaac' Neil plays lead guitar and provides lead vocals in "The RAVE". He is a founding member of the band. He uses two (almost) identical Fender Telecasts and a Fender Twin Reverb amp. He enjoys the clean sound of combination. Neil is an accomplished tribute performer (Buddy Holly & Elvis) and has reached second level in competitions in the annual Collingwood 'Elvis Presley' events.

“The Fabulous RAVE” - 'Benny Sanders' Benny, in addition to playing drums, is also an experienced lead vocalist. He dabbles with guitar and keyboards and is working on songs for a new CD as well. Benny enjoys appearing on reality TV shows and in local movies. Of note, is his audition to be lead vocalist for INXS (Rockstar) and the demolition of his shed on 'Disaster DIY.' He's a friendly guy who teaches yoga in his spare time and recently went back to school to realize his desire to become an elementary school teacher. Benny plays Ludwig drums with Zildjian & Sabian cymbals

“The Fabulous RAVE” - 'Tony Carr' Tony first saw the light of day on Dec.6, 1943, under the big top, of circus life where his parents performed as high platform divers with the world-famous Conklin Shows. He set himself the task of becoming a musician, practising tenor sax for 6 to 8 hours a day. Carr gained a reputation as a leading rhythm and blues musician, working with such notables as Rompin' Ronnie Hawkins and Ben E. King (of "Stand by Me" fame), then toured for 20 years with his own band.... Tony provides tenor sax, vocals and percussion and gives “The Fabulous RAVE” fun Rock 'n' Roll excitement to the vintage tunes and that smooth laid back jazz sound when the band performs some of the Oldie but Goodies.

“The Fabulous RAVE” - 'D'Arcy Cain' D'Arcy has been playing guitar since In 2003 he started performing seriously. A relative newcomer to professional playing, D'Arcy has been performing with local musicians for many years now. D'Arcy plays various instruments.
