Question: What does the Word of God say about Easter? A)Easter as a word does not appear in the true Bible. Answer- False, it occurs in Acts 12:4. B)Easter is described in the true Bible to plainly indicate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Answer-False, it is not linked to the resurrection of Jesus Christ in Acts 12. C)Easter is in the true Bible only once and describes a great feast of celebrating life in the consumption of hams, eggs, candies, and rabbits (conies.) Answer-False, see above. D)Easter appears once in the true bible as a time between Peter’s imprisonment and intended death. Answer-True, see Acts 12:4.

Acts 12:1 Now about that time, Herode the King stretched foorth his hands, to vexe certaine of the Church. :2 And he killed Iames the brother of Iohn with the sword. :3 And because he saw it pleased the Iewes, hee proceeded further, to take Peter also. (Then were the dayes of vnleauened bread.) :4And when hee had apprehended him, hee put him in prison, and deliuered him to foure quaternions of souldiers to keepe him, intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.

A View from a Ministry on Easter: Acts 12:4 “The truth is that Easter has nothing whatsoever to do with the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We also know that Easter can be as much as three weeks away from the Passover, because the pagan holiday is always set as the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox. Some have wondered why the word "Easter" is in the the King James Bible. It is because Acts, chapter 12, tells us that it was the evil King Herod, who was planning to celebrate Easter, and not the Christians. The true Passover and pagan Easter sometimes coincide, but in some years, they are a great distance apart. “

Easter is a biblical term and is found in Acts 12:4. We know for sure that it indicates a time between Peter’s imprisonment and his intended presentation to the Jews for death (by Herod.) We also know it occurred around the time of Passover. Christ is our passover and our unleavened bread of life. 1 Cor 5:7Purge out therefore the olde leauen, that ye may be a new lumpe, as ye are vnleauened. For euen Christ our Passeouer is sacrificed for vs.

Acts 12:4 What did the bibles say during times of persecution? These were based on Hebrew and Greek, not Latin of Rome. Tyndale 1527… ester… Coverdale 1535…Easter… Cranmer 1539…Eater… Geneva 1557…Easter… Bishops 1568…Easter… AV1611…Easter…

Acts 12:4 Enter Jesuit Scholarship and the Vatican’s corrupt Latin and (Greek Septuagint) manuscripts: *Jesuit/Douay Rheims 1610… Pashe… *Vatican MS based RV 1885…Passover… *Jesuit admiring Schaff’s Vatican MS based ASV 1901…Passover… *Billy Graham (Catholic Honorary Doctor) NKJV 1982 …Passover… *Almost all bibles published after 1611 have “Passover” instead of “Easter” Could it be that they are Babylon’s (Rome’s) Merchandise of Gold, Silver, and Pretious Stones?

The real meaning of Easter: A time to be released from prison. The righteous visit those in Behemoths prison. Job 40:18 His bones are as strong pieces of brasse: his bones are like barres of iron. Ezekiel 37:5 Thus saith the Lord God vnto these bones, Behold, I wil cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall liue. 6 And I wil lay sinewes vpon you, and wil bring vp flesh vpon you, and couer you with skinne, and put breath in you, and ye shall liue, and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

Jesus releases prisoners, Jesus says to the righteous: Mat 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sicke, and yee visited me: I was in prison, and ye came vnto me. Jesus says to the unrighteous: 25:43 I was a stranger, and yee tooke me not in: naked, and ye clothed mee not: sicke, and in prison, and yee visited me not. Non-Spiritual Unrighteous respond: 25:44 Then shall they also answere him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sicke, or in prison, and did not minister vnto thee?

Conclusion: Easter: As we celebrate today, let us eat and drink with joy in remembrance of the unleavened bread (Word of God) of our passover, our Lord Jesus Christ. It is hard to escape the pagan customs of our society that have been compassing us about since birth. Celebrate today with the purity of the preserved Word of God in mind. Easter can be remembered as a time to be released from prison (see Job 40: 18 and Psalm 107:16) Let’s share our passover with the world by visiting the widows and fatherless in their affliction.
