How Deep the Father’s Love for Us

How deep the Father’s love for us, How vast beyond all measure that He should give His only Son To make a wretch His treasure.

How great the pain of searing loss. The Father turns His face away As wounds which mar the Chosen One Bring many sons to glory.

Behold the Man upon a cross; My sin upon His shoulders. Ashamed, I hear my mocking voice Call out among the scoffers.

It was my sin that held Him there Until it was accomplished; His dying breath has brought me life. I know that it is finished.

I will not boast in anything: No gifts, no pow’r, no wisdom. But I will boast in Jesus Christ: His death and resurrection.

Why should I gain from His reward? I cannot give an answer. But this I know with all my heart: His wounds have paid my ransom. ODBC CCLI#153970

O Sacred Head, Now Wounded

O sacred Head now wounded With grief and shame weighed down; Now scornfully surrounded With thorns, Thine only crown

How pale Thou art with anguish, With sore abuse and scorn; How does that visage lanquish, Which once was bright as morn!

What Thou, my Lord, hast suffered Was all for sinners gain; Mine, mine was the transgression, But Thine the deadly pain.

Lo, here I fall, my Savior; ‘Tis I deserve Thy place. Look on me with Thy favor; Assist me with Thy grace.

What language shall I borrow To thank Thee, dearest Friend, For this, Thy dying sorrow, Thy pity without end?

O make me Thine forever; And, should I fainting be, Lord, let me never, never Outlive my love to Thee. ODBC CCLI#153970

Behold the Lamb

Behold the Lamb, Slain from the foundation of the world.

For sinners crucified, O Holy sacrifice, Behold the Lamb of God, Behold the Lamb. ODBC CCLI#153970

When I Survey The Wondrous Cross

When I survey the wondrous cross On which the Prince of glory died, My richest gain I count but loss, And pour contempt on all my pride.

Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast, Save in the death of Christ, my God; All the vain things that charm me most, I sacrifice them to His blood.

See, from His head, His hands, His feet, Sorrow and love flow mingled down; Did e'er such love and sorrow meet, Or thorns compose so rich a crown?

Were the whole realm of nature mine, That were an offering far too small; Love so amazing, so divine, Demands my soul, my life, my all. CCLI License No

There is a Fountain

There is a fountain filled with blood Drawn from Immanuel’s veins, And sinners plunged beneath that flood Lose all their guilty stains:

Lose all their guilty stains, Lose all their guilty stains; And sinners plunged beneath that flood Lose all their guilty stains.

The dying thief rejoiced to see That fountain in his day, And there may I, though vile as he, Wash all my sins away:

Wash all my sins away, Wash all my sins away; And there may I, though vile as he, Wash all my sins away.

Dear dying Lamb, The precious blood Shall never lose its pow’r, Till all the ransomed Church of God Be saved to sin no more:

Be saved to sin no more, Be saved to sin no more; Till all the ransomed Church of God Be saved to sin no more.

E’er since by faith I saw the stream Thy flowing wounds supply, Redeeming love has been my theme And shall be till I die:

And shall be till I die, And shall be till I die; Redeeming love has been my theme And shall be till I die. ODBC CCLI#153970

What Wondrous Love Is This

What wondrous love is this, O my soul, O my soul! What wondrous love is this, O my soul!

What wondrous love is this That caused the Lord of bliss To bear the dreadful curse For my soul, for my soul, To bear the dreadful curse For my soul.

When I was sinking down, sinking down, sinking down, When I was sinking down, sinking down,

When I was sinking down Beneath God’s righteous frown, Christ laid aside His crown for my soul, for my soul, Christ laid aside His crown for my soul.

To God and to the Lamb I will sing, I will sing; To God and to the Lamb I will sing

To God and to the Lamb Who is the great “I AM”, While millions join the theme, I will sing, I will sing, While millions join the theme, I will sing ODBC CCLI#153970

At the Cross

Alas! And did my Savior bleed? And did my Sov’reign die? Would He devote that sacred head For sinners such as I?

At the cross, at the cross, Where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away. It was there by faith I received my sight, And now I am happy all the day!

Was it for crimes that I have done He groaned upon the tree? Amazing pity! Grace unknown! And love beyond degree!

At the cross, at the cross, Where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away. It was there by faith I received my sight, And now I am happy all the day!

But drops of grief can ne’er repay The debt of love I owe. Here, Lord, I give myself away; ‘Tis all that I can do.

At the cross, at the cross, Where I first saw the light, And the burden of my heart rolled away. It was there by faith I received my sight, And now I am happy all the day! ODBC CCLI#153970
