Jack and Jill Jack and Jill went up the hill The fetch a pail of water; Jack feel down and broke his crown, And Jill came tumbling after. Up got Jack and home did he trot, As fast as he could caper; Went to bed and bound his head, With vinegar and brown paper. When Jill came in how she did grin To see Jack's paper plaster; Mother vexed, did whip her next; For causing Jack's disaster.

Hey Diddle Diddle Hey diddle diddle, the cat and the fiddle, The cow jumped over the moon. The little dog laughed to see such fun And the dish ran away with the spoon!

Jack Spratt Jack Sprat could eat no fat His wife could eat no lean And so betwixt the two of them They licked the platter clean Jack ate all the lean, Joan ate all the fat. The bone they picked it clean, Then gave it to the cat Jack Sprat was wheeling, His wife by the ditch. The barrow turned over, And in she did pitch. Says Jack, "She'll be drowned!" But Joan did reply, "I don't think I shall, For the ditch is quite dry.".
