1 Nursery Rhymes Digital Design

2 The Wheels on the Bus The wheels on the bus go round and round, Round and round, round and round. The wheels on the bus go round and round, All through the town. The wipers on the bus go swish swish swish, Swish swish swish, swish swish swish. The wipers on the bus go swish swish swish, All through the town. The door on the bus goes open and shut, Open and shut, open and shut. The door on the bus goes open and shut, All through the town. The driver on the bus goes, “Move on back!” “Move on back, move on back!” The driver on the bus goes, “Move on back!” All through the town. The baby on the bus says, “Wah wah wah!” “Wah wah wah, wah wah wah!” The baby on the bus says, “Wah wah wah!” All through the town. The wheels on the bus go round and round, Round and round, round and round. The wheels on the bus go round and round, All through the town. Ethical message: The lesson behind “The Wheels on the Bus” is that when you are a leader you have to remain on task and do you’re job, even when there is a lot going on around you. In this nursery rhyme, the bus driver still has to do his job even though there’s a lot of chaos around him.

3 Hush, little baby, don't say a word, Mama's gonna buy you a mockingbird. And If that mockingbird don't sing, Mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring And If that diamond ring turns to brass, Mama's gonna buy you a looking glass. And If that looking glass gets broke, Mama's gonna buy you a Billy goat, And If that Billy goat don't pull, Mama's gonna buy you a cart and a bull. And If that cart and bull turn over, Mama's gonna buy you a dog named Rover. And If that dog named Rover won't bark, Mama's gonna buy you a horse and a cart. And If that horse and cart fall down, you'll still be the sweetest little baby in town. You’ll still be the sweetest little baby in town. Ethical Message:That a parent will do what ever it takes to make their child happy, and that gifts don’t define them as a human being.

4 Bobby Shafto's Gone to Sea
Silver buckles at his knee; He'll come back and marry me, Bonny Bobby Shafto! Bobby Shafto's bright and fair, Panning out his yellow hair; He's my love for evermore, Ethical Message: While Bobby is gone to sea, this woman (or man) remains faithful to him. Love is a promise; it will transcend all distances.

5 A Kiss When I Wake up in the Morning
A kiss when I wake in the morning, A kiss when I go to bed, A kiss when I burn my fingers, A kiss when I bump my head. A kiss when my bath begins, A kiss when my bath is over, My mamma is as full of kisses As a nurse is full of pins. A kiss when I pull her hair, A kiss when I play with my rattle, She covered me all over with kisses The day I fell down stairs. A kiss when I give her trouble, A kiss when I give her joy; There is nothing like mamma’s kisses To her own little boy. Ethical Message: There is nothing like a Mother’s love

6 Says A, give me a good large slice, Says B, a little bit, but nice, Says C, cut me a piece of crust, Take it, says D, it's dry as dust,   Says E, I'll eat it fast, I will, Says F, I vow I'll have my fill,   Says G, give it me good and great, Says H, a little bit I hate,   Says I, it's ice I must request, Says J, the juice I love the best,   Says K, let's keep it up above, Says L, the border's what I love,   Says M, it makes your teeth to chatter, N said, it's nice, there's nought the matter, O others' plates with grief surveyed, P for a large piece begged and prayed,   Q quarrelled for the topmost slice, R rubbed his hands and said "it's nice,"   S silent sat, and simply looked, T thought, and said, it's nicely cooked,   U understood the fruit was cherry, V vanished when they all got merry,   W wished there'd been a quince in, X here explained he'd need convincing,   Y said, I'll eat, and yield to none, Z, like a zany, said he'd done, While ampersand purloined the dish, And for another pie did wish. Ethical Message: This rhyme illustrates to children the struggle and competition for the best resources in life, while also managing to teach them the alphabet

7 The Queen of Hearts The Queen of Hearts She made some tarts,     All on a summer's day; The Knave of Hearts He stole those tarts,      And took them clean away. The King of Heart’s Called for the tarts,     And beat the knave full sore; The Knave of Hearts Brought back the tarts,     And vowed he'd steal no more. Ethical Message: Stealing and thievery is wrong. You’ll be punished severely for it if you try.

8 Jack and Jill Jack and Jill went up a hill, To fetch a pail of water. Jack fell down and broke his crown, And Jill came tumbling after. Up Jack got and home did trot, As fast as he could caper, And went to bed to mend his head With vinegar and brown paper. Ethical Message: This shows that you will get hurt if you are not careful when completing dangerous tasks. Also, you should mend your injuries afterwards as soon as possible.

9 Rock A Bye Baby Ethical message:
Rock a bye baby, on the tree top, When the wind blows the cradle will rock. When the bough breaks the cradle will fall, And down will come baby, cradle and all. Rock a bye baby, gently you swing, Over the cradle, Mother will sing, Sweet is the lullaby over your nest That tenderly sings my baby to rest. From the high rooftops, down to the sea No one's as dear as baby to me Wee little hands, eyes shiny and bright Now sound asleep until morning light Ethical message: The baby in the cradle doesn't have control their life because of the age he or she is. The mother still needs to take care of the child. It shows that mothers should all give their baby enough attention and protection in order for the baby to feel safe, as well as happy.

10 Love and care and friendship
Mary had a little lamb its fleece was white as snow; And everywhere that Mary went, the lamb was sure to go. It followed her to school one day, which was against the rule; It made the children laugh and play, to see a lamb at school. And so the teacher turned it out, but still it lingered near, And waited patiently about till Mary did appear. "Why does the lamb love Mary so?" the eager children cry; "Why, Mary loves the lamb, you know" the teacher did reply. Love and care and friendship

11 The Ants Go Marching The ants go marching one by one, hurrah, hurrah
The little one stops to suck his thumb And they all go marching down to the ground To get out of the rain, BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! The ants go marching ten by ten, hurrah, hurrah The ants go marching ten by ten, hurrah, hurrah Ethical Message: Dedication to the task at hand The ants go marching ten by ten, The little one stops to say "THE END" And they all go marching down to the ground To get out of the rain, BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
