Pride noun : a feeling that you respect yourself and deserve to be respected by other people

Why is pride important?

Hands up, who has heard about Pride events taking place over the summer?

What do all these Pride logos have in common?

The rainbow flag is the symbol of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans community, encouraging them to be proud of who they are. Pride events are a celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people and their friends and families.

Can students at this school who are lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or trans be open, honest and proud of who they are? Who makes the school that way?

Each section of the Pride rainbow flag represents an area in life that is essential for well-being: Life Healing Sun Nature Relaxation Spirit

Millions of people go purple on Spirit Day in a stand against bullying and to show their support for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans (LGBT) youth. Will You?
