 It’s 1793 and Mattie Cook is working at her parents coffee shop. Yellow fever hits the town of Philadelphia. Almost everyone in Philadelphia flees the city. Mattie’s mother get yellow fever and tell Mattie she needs to leave. Mattie leaves with her grandfather. But on there way there Mattie’s grandfather gets sick and they are not allowed to enter the new city. Mattie and her grandfather don’t get to move. They get stranded in the middle of no where. Everyone gets sick including Mattie. Now Mattie needs to learn how to survive….Alone.

 Will she meet anyone along the way?

 What will happen to Mattie?

 How will Mattie do it ?

 Will anyone be able to survive?

 Mattie’s mom lost. Will anyone be able to find her? Or is she dead?
