Definition: anti-lock braking system (ABS): is a safety system that allows the wheels on a motor vehicle to continue interacting tractively with the road.
The Braking System  The energy used to accelerate or move a vehicle from rest to a certain speed is called “Kinetic” (moving) energy.  To slow the vehicle.

BRAKE DISC BRAKE

BRAKE DISC BRAKES(on all wheels) with A MASTER CYLINDER.

BRAKE

BRAKE SPECIFICATIONS- Brakes- Disc Brake with Maruti 800 calliper assemply Master Cylinder- Maruti 800 Bosch Tandem Master Cylinder (OEM) Mountings- Aluminum Brake Lines Hydraulic Brake hoses Banjo bolts etc. are taken

Disc Diameter (Outer/Inner) 215.2 mm/175 mm MASTER CYLINDER DIAMETER 19.1mm Diameter of the Maruti 800 caliper 2.7 mm Brake disc thickness 10 mm Brake Pedal Ratio 1:4 Pressure acting in the cylinder 1.39 N/(mm)2 Force acting on each caliper liner 1545.45 N Total brake force acting on the vehicle 1854.54 N Deceleration of the vehicle during braking 6.08 m/s2 Stopping distance(when vehicle is moving at 54kmph) 18.50m

BRAKE BRAKE LIGHT The vehicle must be equipped with a red brake light that is mounted such that the light shines parallel to the ground, not up at an angle. ISI rated Brake Lights are to be used

Diagonal Braking Circuit SAFETY Following equipments must be used for safety purposes KILL SWITCH FIRE EXTINGUISHER DRIVER 5 Point SEAT BELT Diagonal Braking Circuit Motocross Helmet Gloves Neck Brace

SAFETY KILL SWITCH Cockpit Switch – The cockpit switch must be located in the front of the cockpit within easy reach of the driver when strapped into the seat. Must be less than 177.8 mm

SAFETY FIRE EXTINGUISHER Fire extinguishers must be labeled with school name and vehicle number .

SAFETY Diagonal Braking Circuit. For Circuit Failure, Diagonal Braking Circuit Split is used for Effective Braking Power on both Axles.

SAFETY The Roll Cage Design is made respect to the safety of the driver. In case of an emergency, Driver can easily come out of the ATV within 5 seconds.
