Supported Employment Study – for EU and in partnership with, COWI, Work Research Institute (Norway) and all National Associations Revised Articles of Association – President and up to 4 Vice Presidents Scholarship

Present President – 3 Vice Presidents representing; UK, Sweden and Spain 19 National Associations as full members and 2 new associate members ( Bulgaria and Slovenia) Scholarship Delivery of Leonardo Transfer of innovation project in relation to Toolkit and its applicability to individuals in other disadvantaged situations and translation. Acknowledgement by Zero Project of one of 40 worldwide Innovative Practice 2013 awarded in Vienna Help for Supported Employment Service Providers (Toolkit) Commencement of a network of University and Research Institutes in order to carry out European Wide research.

Pending Application to Leonard to evaluate the use and relevance of the Toolkit across Europe. (11 Partners) Partnership Working with others: EASPD, Workability Europe and Gladnet. Partner in ESES (Designing the competence profile of the European Supported Employment Specialist. Conference Preparation Dublin 2013 – June 11,12 and 13. Council Meetings with an average of 13 countries represented held every 4 months.

EASPD – Employment For All Awards EASPD is gathering best practice examples that can be shared throughout Europe. The best will be showcased in a booklet. Supported Employment across Europe The Model – Engage, Place, Train, Maintain and Progress Simple methodology but requires all elements to be supported employment Government programmes DO NOT always meet the supported employment model.

Protect the Model UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Article 27: Work and employment People with disabilities have the right to work, including the right to work in an environment that is open, inclusive and accessible. Countries must take appropriate steps to promote employment opportunities and career advancement for people with disabilities.
