III. guard your heart: How? God's Prescription: 1 nourish your heart -- strong heart for nourishment, you have to eat, to drink, take nutrition A. Eat, drink the word of God

* a God's words are the most nourishing to our hearts Ps 19:7The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. Ps 19:8The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. Ps 19:9The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the LORD are sure and altogether righteous. Ps 19:10They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb. Ps 19:11By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward.

Ps 12:6And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times. God's Words are the purest, most organic, non-toxic, most nutritious, also help you detox

* b. how to eat and drink the word of God? To read, to meditate, and to memorize! Ps 1:2But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. Ps 1:3He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

Deut 6:5Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. Deut 6:6These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Deut 6:7Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Deut 6:8Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Deut 6:9Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

B. craving the word of God cultivate a good appetite for the Word 1Pet 2:1Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind. 1Pet 2:2Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,

(1) You must be determined to choose the right food "Pure spiritual milk word of God.” (2) to eat and drink the word of God, is to read the Word of God appetite will grow God's Word help us to grow and mature, give us wisdom, give us comfort, strength and hope!

2 cleanse your heart, healthy heart purify yourselves by obeying the the Word of God 1Pet 1:22Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from the heart. Conclusion: a better life starts from the "heart" Prov 23:7for he is the kind of man who is always thinking about the cost. Prov 4:23 Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. a better life starts from the "heart" "guard your heart”, embrace a wonderful life!
