Autumn Bailey

 Clear drink made from corn, barley, grain, rye, or a beverage containing ethyl.  20% is absorbed in the stomach, 80% is absorbed in the small intestine.  After alcohol is absorbed it leaves the body in 3 ways: kidney, lungs, and liver.

 Beer and wine is called fermented beverages.  Beer is made from barley malt.  Soak the barley in water to make it sprout. When barley dries, they take off the sprouts only leaving starch, or malt. Malt is ground up & mixed up with water to form mash. But into another mash which contains corn or rice that has been crushed and heated. Starch from corn & rice is changed to sugar. Some dried flowers are added to the mash to add flavor. Brewers age the beer to add flavor.

 Lancet Medical Journal in January 2002 seeing to indicate that daily moderate consumption of alcohol may help ward off Alzheimer's disease.  Prevent heart disease & stroke (1-3 drinks)  Its ONLY destructive if you use excessive alcohol.

 Because it makes you hyper and wild.  Because parents in friends do it so they think if they do it, it will make them popular.

 My opinion of alcohol is simple. Alcohol is really not that big of a deal. Teens should not be so dumb to go out and drink in drive knowing there might be a chance of wrecking. Its ONLY dangerous if YOUmake it dangerous!!!
