The official language is English but they also speak Scottish Gaelic.

The official languages are English and Irish.

The official languages are Welsh and English.

While English is the official language, Cornish is also recognized.

 Children can begin nursery school at age 3 however, school is not required until age 5.  Children begin the 1 st form when they are 5 or 6 years old.  Secondary school begins at age 11.
