The trip and our First Day On Saturday we left Nottingham at 10am and had a nice trip to Heathrow Airport in London arriving at about 1 O’Clock. The flight left at 5.35 and lasted about 8 Hrs. Mrs Qureshi and Ms Lisa talked for 8 Hrs! and we then landed in Lahore at about 6am Local time.

The Local Market After some breakfast at the Crown Plaza Hotel (more about the Crown Plaza tomorrow) where we had Pakistani Omelette, breads and a dhal type curry Mrs Qureshi allowed us a short rest! We then visited some of her family including her Aunt who visited Dunkirk recently! We found some Samosa at a local Bazaar, here is Mr John holding some and Miss Lisa eating one!. Mrs Qureshi models the umbrella, used to keep the sun off our heads (we wish).

Later that day……. We visited some more of Mrs Qureshi’s family where they brought out a birthday cake to celebrate Mrs Qureshi’s husband birthday! We ate some more food…. Then looked around another market. In the evening we went back to the Hotel and checked our work for today and then we ate some more (it was lovely!). This morning we ate some more and then……… Well you’ll have to wait until tomorrow to find out!
