The teachers were young leaders or communicators 106 young people studyng 30 young political leaders of Colombia, Bolivia, Ecuador y Guatemala (counterparts from the Netherlands Institute for multiparty democracy). 50 young leaders from the Indigenous and Youth Communicators Network of Spain Fund – UNDP (indigenous and afro-descendants). 26 young and political leaders as counterparts in projects of the UNDP offices in the region. 60% of the team of Youth School: accompany the course design

MONTH/ YEAR Skills to strengthen Octubre 2012 América Latina Reflect on ethics within the use of the communication policy Use communication and information tools Plan and design the basic elements of a communication strategy for an election campaign and in the exercise of Government

The game was developed under the pretext of elections in Mediapolis, where there will not be a mayor elected, but candidates trained in political communication and media management strategies.

The game takes place in 4 phases which are:

Recognition of the media as essential tools of political communication.

Understand the importance of listening to citizens and the opposition to develop a political strategy.

Analyze resources and tools to learn how to make an optimal selection of the electoral niche.

Organize the agenda to carry out in the stages of a campaign to recognize processes that:

Attend interviews

Webdocs multimedia online resources (with video, text, photos and audio) with comprehensive and up-to-date information on the main themes of the course.
