Future : - Reduce the size of the fluorescent particle : to get a better resolution - Many studies : plasmonics and thermics Nano-optics : evanescent fields (localized, surface plasmons polaritons) Nano-thermics : heating in stripes, failure analysis, … UNIVERSAL DETECTOR !
