Welcome to the 4-H Hat Etiquette Game! To select a question, click on the point value. When you are ready for the answer (in the form of a question), just click on the text. Click on the text of the answer to return to the board. The game board will keep track of the questions you have previously selected.

The Junior Leader emblem, is worn by 4-Hers in these grades.

What is 7th-9th?

This is the color of the second star that can be earned through the Personal Development Report Form.

What is the Silver Star?

This is the placement of the highest star rank earned on your 4-H hat.

What is front left?

A Junior or Teen Leader Emblem is placed behind this emblem on the hat.

What is your star?

This is the stripe worn by a 5th grade member who is a 2nd year member.

What is the white on green stripe?

This is the stripe worn by a 9th grade, 3rd year 4-H member.

What is the green on white stripe?

This is the stripe worn by a Teen Leader.

What is the gold on white stripe?

This is the stripe worn by a 7th grade member who is a Junior Leader.

What is the gold on green stripe?

This pin is placed directly above the corresponding service stripe.

What is the year pin?

This medal is given for attending all club meetings in a year, and depending on the style can be worn on or under the service stripe for the year, or on the hat with your other medals.

What is the 100% attendance pin?

This is the section of your hat where award medals should first be placed.

What is the back left portion of the hat?

This medal or pin should not be worn on the hat once you are a Regular 4-H Member.

What is the Primary Pin or Primary Member Button?

This is the hat worn by 10th grade 4-H members.

What is the white hat?

This is the hat worn by 6th grade members.

What is the green hat?

These are times when wearing your 4-H hat is not acceptable.

What is in church or during meals?

These are times when wearing the 4-H hat is recommended?

What are 4-H Club meetings and county 4-H events?
