China Scholarship Council May 11, 2015 Page 3 Affiliated to China’s Department of Education Government sponsorship towards study overseas Provides scholarships to students for higher education

CSC-Oxford Programme May 11, 2015 Page 4 Jointly funded, full scholarship for 4 years of doctoral study towards a DPhil (PhD) degree at the University of Oxford Includes all fees (university and college) and a stipend (of at least £13,863 GBP per year) Students may be eligible for a supplementary award of approx. £4,000 GBP per year One return airfare (China-UK-China) Number of awards: Around ~5 places at NDM, additional places in other departments

Admission Requirements May 11, 2015 Page 5 CSC’s requirements: Chinese citizenship Must be a student from a “211 Project University” The applicant must not already have a PhD After finishing their studies overseas, the student should return to China
